How do my risk education courses work?

What do I need to know before my visit?

What kind of car will I be driving at my Risk Education part 2 (Risk 2)?
We use the 2022 Nissan Leaf electric car. 100% electric!
All of our cars are automatic.
What kind of motorcycle will I be driving on Risk Education part 2 (Risk 2) for MC?
At Gillinge, we use:
Heavy motorcycles: Honda CB650 and 750 Hornet, as well as CB 500. Light motorcycles are KTM 125.
Are there any food options available?
We offer drinks, sandwiches, and light snacks in our cozy café. You can pay with Swish or card. No cash.
Do I need my ID?
Yes, you need valid photo ID to show to the teacher.
Can I take part 2 (Risk 2) before part 1 (Risk 1) of my Risk Educations?
Yes! You can take the risk education courses in any order you like.
Which languages are the Risk courses available in?
We offer Risk 1 and Risk 2 in English as well as Swedish.
How does it work when you are going to do the courses?
- You check in upon your arrival.
- You will be called 15 minutes before your education begins.
- The teacher calls out the names of everyone who is going to participate.
- An ID check and a sobriety check are performed.
- Now we are getting started with the education.
Do I need any special clothing?
We spend a large part of the education outdoors, so dress weather appropriate. Otherwise, wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for both the car and the classroom.
We provide all equipment, but if you want to use your own motorcycle clothing, that’s fine, but it must be CE-marked and intended for driving a motorcycle.
How do I travel by bus to Gillinge?

I need an interpreter during my risk education
If you need an interpreter, you must bring someone with you who can translate for you. We do not provide interpreters.
What happens after completing the course?
What happens after the education?
You will be asked to fill out a survey on your opinion of our education. Our “student pulse”.
Will I receive a diploma or something similar?
You will receive confirmation of completed education via email from us.
Do I need to do anything to have my qualification visible?
No, we report electronically to Transportstyrelsen on a daily basis. So there is no need for you to do anything.
